This January we had the chance of working on the windows and doors of Isabel doing reverse glass gilding for the entire space. The client chose a two-tone design, a chisel style lettering which we usually achieve by using two different application methods on glass - Mirror gilding (water gilding) and Matte gilding (oil gilding). In this case, we have used 24CT Giusto Manetti Italian gold leaf for water gilding and 22CT transfer gold leaves for the oil gilding.
